Introduction

The Essential ran a 8 month long pilot with DoorDash creating an exclusive private label brand for both DashMart and DashPass customers. The Essential team worked closely with the DoorDash team collaborating on product catalog, inventory & logistics, and branded marketing assets.

I was the design lead in charge of storefront design, integration design, packaging design, and shared branding.


Conclusion

Partnering with DoorDash to launch a new private label brand has given The Essential the opportunity to launch 80+ new products, move through stuck inventory, and get the store in front of a whole new larger audience.
